Profile : Mr. Raffy Gascon is from the Philippines , He is a ‘Meztizo’
(Filipino- Spanish ) he is married to his lovely wife Ma. Anna Rosario Gascon

Mr. Gascon is a certified English Teacher, he finished his

TESOL

(Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in May of 2003 .

He also worked as a “Tsunami Relief Worker” in Indonesia in 2005 under the International Teams
( a Missions Organization).

Mr.Gascon loves sports , he enjoys playing basketball , and adventure sports such as : Para-sailing ,Hiking, Mountain Climbing, and Skydiving .

He is hoping to develop many friends here in Japan as he is a Missionary with his wife Ma. Anna Gascon..

Currently he is based here in Akashi and works under the supervision of Akashi Christ Church , whose leader is Mr. Hisaharu Yamawaki.

English Worship Service

here at Akashi Christ Church .

We would like to meet with you and do some planning ,

every Saturday at 3:00- 4:00 pm

at the second floor of the Church building, we will also have Tea time.

You don’t need to be alone. Be a part of our family! The Bible says, “You are members of God’s very own family, citizens of God’s country, and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian” (Ephesians 2:19b, LB). There is a family waiting for you here. Don’t let the loneliness of being away from your loved ones deter you from experiencing love and acceptance from people who care.

You don’t need to be a spectator. Be an active participant! The Bible also says, “It is God himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ages ago he planned that we should spend these lives in helping others” (Ephesians 2:10, LB).

主イエス様を知る前の自分の状態は、精神的に弱く逃げてばかりいて自己中心的でした。昨年の４月から、この教会に来ていましたが、魚住の方へ引っ越し、遠くなったので来れなくなりました。近くの教会を探して行きましたが、やはり明石キリスト教会へ行こうと決心してバイクを買って、この教会に通うことにしました。この教会で聖書を買い、み言葉を教えて頂きました。『キリストも一度罪のために死なれました。正しい方が悪い人々の身代わりとなったのです。それは、肉においては死に渡され、霊において生かされて、私たちを神のみもとに導くためでした。』（�Tペテロ３：１８）『しかし、この方を受け入れた人々、すなわち、その名を信じた人々には、神の子どもとされる特権をお与えになった。』（ヨハネ１：１２）私の罪のために十字架で死んで下さったイエス様を信じるだけで罪が赦され神の子どもとされる事、そして、永遠の命が与えられる事を知り、今年５月にイエス・キリストを救い主と信じ、心に受け入れました。その後も聖書のみ言葉を学びながらイエス・キリストの神様に導かれて新しい人生を歩んでいきたいと願っています。イエス様を心に受け入れてからは、自分の問題を神様に祈れるようになってきました。心に平安が与えられて気持ちが強められている事を感謝します。現在、心に握っているみ言葉は、（箴言３：５〜６）『心を尽くして主により頼め。自分の悟りに頼るな。あなたの行く所どこにおいても、主を認めよ。そうすれば、主はあなたの道をまっすぐにされる。』です。み言葉に照らされながら一歩一歩進んで行ける事を感謝します。

須磨アルプスへ行ってきました。
疲れたけど楽しかったよ！

私は神様がいらっしゃることは知っていました。時には、感謝の祈りをすることもありました。しかし、多くは神の存在を忘れた生活をしていました。物事を楽な方へ考え、行いの結果が良い時は自分の努力の賜物と思い、うまくいかない時は他人のせいにし、悪意とねたみの中で有頂天になったり、落ち込んだりするような愚かな生活をしていました。５，６年前から毎月クリスチャン新聞を届けて下さる織田様が近くにいらっしゃいました。その織田様が「家で集会をしようと思うけど来られる？」と誘って下さいました。それが、山脇牧師先生との出会いでした。聖書の学びをするうちに、自分が罪人であり、イエス様が罪人を救うために、この世に来られたこと、そして、十字架に架けられたイエス様を通して神様とお話が出来るということがわかりました。「『キリスト・イエスは、罪人を救うためにこの世に来られた。』ということばは、まことであり、そのまま受け入れるに値するものです。私はその罪人のかしらです。」Iテモテ１：１５神の御心にかなう生活をしたいと思います。信じた後は、「あなたがたは今まで、何もわたしの名によって求めたことはありません。求めなさい。そうすれば受けるのです。」ヨハネ１６：２４このみ言葉に勇気づけられます。これから、何でも祈り、神様に身を委ねて行こうと思います。
